Dying is a natural part of life, but many people do not have experience caring for someone in their final days, and find themselves navigating through new and unfamiliar territory. “When the Time Comes” is a seminar designed to help you feel more confident in knowing what to expect and what you can do to care for someone in their final months, weeks and hours of life.
Legacy Hospice of the West (918) 541-9325, www.legacyhospice.net, is sponsoring When the Time Comes, a caregiver’s seminar, Wednesday, March 20th , at 7:00 P.M. at Foundation Freewill Baptist Church, 23800 Us Highway 59 (2 miles north of Sailboat Bridge), Grove, Oklahoma. There is no fee to attend; materials will be available in English and Spanish.
Learn more about: review of life experiences, withdrawal from others, changes in condition, confusion, restlessness, surge of energy, saying goodbye, moment of passing, signs and symptoms to watch, care for the caregiver and more.
Family members, friends and caregivers can play an important role in providing comfort and support to someone entering the final phase of life. Join us as we share how important that role can be.
