Spanish version of popular care givers seminar….
Dealing with a loved one who has a terminal diagnosis is not restricted to any one culture, religion or ethnic group. That is why Legacy Hospice of the West has added a Spanish version of the popular “When the Time Comes” to their popular seminar/workshop series.
While dying is a natural part of life, many people don’t have experience caring for someone in their last days, and can find it difficult to navigate through new and unfamiliar territory. “When the Time Comes” is a seminar whose purpose is to help caregivers feel more confident in knowing what to expect and what they can do to care for someone in their final months, weeks and hours of life.
Legacy Hospice of the West (918) 541-9325, www.legacyhospice.net, and Brown/Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service (918) 542-3311 www.brown-winters.com are sponsoring a special Spanish “When the Time Comes”, seminar Sunday April. 28th, at 5:30 P.M. at the Parrish Hall of Sacred Heart Catholic Church 2515 North Main Street Miami, Oklahoma. There is no fee to attend; materials will be available in English and Spanish. Jesse Hernández Dale will do the entire presentation in Spanish.
Learn more about: review of life experiences, withdrawal from others, changes in condition, confusion, restlessness, surge of energy, saying goodbye, moment of passing, signs and symptoms to watch, care for the caregiver and more.
Family members, friends and caregivers can play an important role in providing comfort and support to someone entering the final phase of life. Join us as we share how important that role can be.
