You love your pets. You spend each day providing for them. Have you planned for their future? If you are like many people, you may have to plan for their future, and yours, but lacked the knowledge and resources. That’s why several area groups are combining to bring you “Planning for Your Pet’s Future” a free discussion on topics of interest to pet owners. This informative program is presented by the Animal Welfare Society of Miami, OK. Panelists include: Dr. David Prescott, DVM of Hometown Pet Care, the Ottawa County EMS Directors office, the Law Offices of R. Matt Whalen, Legacy Hospice of the West and Jeff Brown of Brown/Winters Funeral Home.
“There are nearly 200 million pets in the United States, and planning for them can be as involved as planning for any family member, that’s why we feel this meeting will be a benefit to all who attend” says Legacy Hospice Chaplain Lee Hilliard.
Pets and animal companions are cherished members of our families. Learning what programs and services are available for them if something unexpected happens is important to you and them. This meeting can help with your plans in the event of death or incapacity of you or your pet, may provide a plan in case of emergency, can help determine a temporary or emergency caregiver and can give you peace of mind.
Join us for a FREE informative discussion on Thursday April 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the Miami Charlie’s Chicken in their meeting room. Space is limited. Please RSVP.
