Oswego Drug Store, in Oswego, Kansas, is a full service drug store that has served the community since 1984. In 1996, we constructed a laboratory and began specializing in compounding customized medications.

This is a wonderful place for eyeglass frames. They do not do eye exams or carry contacts. It's strictly a glasses store, but a good one! They have designer brands and a surprising number of avant-garde frames you wouldn't expect to find in southwest Missouri. Some are pricey but others are very affordable and they always have dozens of clearance frames to check out. Definitely go when you have plenty of time to browse because their selection is enormous. I've bought glasses here many times since the early 1990's and while I really preferred the customer service of previous owners, the new owner seems nice enough also. However, I missed being treated like an old friend. The new owner seemed standoffish even when I told her I'd been coming there for years, it felt like my 1st visit to the store instead of (probably) my 16th or 17th purchase there. Although with any changing of hands I suppose that happens. To be honest, I would have given 5 stars if the previous owners were still there because they rocked. For those who may be wondering, you can get an eye exam pretty much anywhere and just take your prescription to Optical Outlet. I love the selection AND the prices, I can't fathom paying 2 or 3 times the Optical Outlet prices for my frames elsewhere.
